Full Cast, Creative Team Set for Premiere of Brett Neveu’s Old Glory

Casting information has been announced for the world premiere production of Brett Neveu’s Old Glory, set to run at the Writers’ Theatre, February 3-March 29. William Brown will direct.

The third part of a trilogy — which includes his works, Harmless and Weapon of Mass Impact — Neveu’s new work follows six ordinary people grappling with the emotional casualties of war. The trilogy is a response to terrorism, a lack of trust between people, and deceit within the American government. The cast will feature LaShawn Banks, Steve Haggard, Philip Earl Johnson, Tom McElroy, Penny Slusher, and Marcus Truschinski.

The creative team will include Charles Cooper (lighting), Andy Hansen (sound), Rachel Anne Healy (costume), and Keith Pitts (set).
