Christian Gray to Star in First Folio’s The Madness of Edgar Allan Poe

First Folio Theatre is to present The Madness of Edgar Allan Poe: A Love Story, an original play by executive director David Rice, September 26-November 4. Michael Goldberg will direct.

The play is a tale of life and death, love, and heartbreak based on the life and writings of the famed author.

The cast will feature Christian Gray (Edgar Allan Poe), Diane Mair (Virginia Poe), Robert Allan Smith (The Madman and The Prisoner), and Annelise Lawson (Ligeia). The ensemble will include Robbie Bersano, Erica Bittner, Daniel Gilbert, Michael Holding, and Megan Ingram.

The design team will be comprised of Kyle Gettelman (set design), Rachel Lambert (costume design), Christopher Kriz (sound design), and Michael McNamara (lighting design).
