The Nap Prepares to Snooker Broadway on Opening Night
Manhattan Theatre Club presents the US debut of Richard Bean's ensemble comedy.
Richard Bean's The Nap celebrates its Broadway opening tonight at Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, where the show began preview performances September 5.
The new comedy is set in the world of snooker, the British version of pool. Before he knows it, Dylan's forced into underhanded dealings with a cast of wildly colorful characters that include his ex-convict dad (John Ellison Conlee), saucy mum (Johanna Day), quick-tongued manager (Max Gordon Moore), and a renowned gangster (Alexandra Billings) to boot.
Directed by Daniel Sullivan, the cast also features Ahmed Aly Elsayed, Ethan Hova, Heather Lind, Bhavesh Patel, and Thomas Jay Ryan.
