Beginning tomorrow, June 13, Moulin Rouge! The Musical will offer stageside seating, officially called "Can Can! Table Seating," which the production describes as follows:

"'Can Can! Table Seating' is located directly in front of the stage and is surrounded by an extended, semicircular runway (in what would commonly be the location of the orchestra pit). These seats are extremely close to the stage, and often surrounded on all sides by the action taking place onstage."

In addition to the stageside seating, Moulin Rouge! has also announced that a $29 daily lottery will go into effect for each performance. Further details about the lottery will be released at a later date.

Based on Baz Luhrmann's popular 2001 film, the cast of the Broadway musical features Tony winner Karen Olivo (West Side Story) as Satine, Aaron Tveit (Catch Me If You Can) as Christian, six-time Tony nominee Danny Burstein (Fiddler on the Roof) as Harold Zidler, Tony nominee Sahr Ngaujah (Fela) as Toulouse-Lautrec, Tam Mutu (Doctor Zhivago) as the Duke, Ricky Rojas (Burn the Floor) as Santiago, and Robyn Hurder (Nice Work If You Can Get It) as Nini.

Moulin Rouge! is directed by Alex Timbers, with a book by John Logan, choreography by Sonya Tayeh, and music supervision, orchestrations, and arrangements by Justin Levine. The production will begin previews on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on June 28 ahead of a July 25 opening night.
