Broadway Participants in 2015 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Announced

Stars from ”Fiddler on the Roof”, ”School of Rock”, and more will perform on the annual telecast.

Cast members from Broadway's Fiddler on the Roof, Finding Neverland, The King and I, On Your Feet!, Something Rotten!, and School of Rock will all take part in the 89th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, broadcast live on November 26 on NBC.

The first five of those musicals will perform during the telecast's first hour, beginning at 9am. The young and adult stars of School of Rock will travel down the parade route on their own float. Additionally, the show will feature a performance by the cast of NBC's The Wiz Live!

Celebrities set to appear on floats include Mariah Carey, Pat Benatar, Jennifer Nettles, Daughtry, Jordin Sparks, and Trey Songz; the bands Panic! at the Disco, Plain White T's, and Questlove with the cast of Sesame Street; and others.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade kicks off at 77th Street and Central Park West before marching down Columbus Avenue, turning onto Central Park South, and heading down Sixth Avenue to Macy's Herald Square on 34th Street.
