The full cast of the upcoming Broadway transfer of the Second Stage Theater revival of Harvey Fierstein's Torch Song has been announced. Joining Michael Urie and Mercedes Ruehl will be the rest of the original Second Stage cast: Ward Horton, Roxanna Hope Radja, Michael Hsu Rosen, and Jack DiFalco. The production will begin previews on Tuesday, October 9, ahead of a Thursday, November 1, opening at the Hayes Theater.

Moisés Kaufman will once again direct. The creative team will be announced later.

A collection of three plays, Torch Song Trilogy opened on Broadway at the Little Theatre (now the Hayes), where it enjoyed a groundbreaking run, earning Tony Awards for Best Play and Best Actor in a Play (Fierstein) and running for 1,222 performances. Harvey Fierstein's Torch Song, according to a press release, "follows Arnold Beckoff's odyssey to find happiness in New York. All he wants is a husband, a child and a pair of bunny slippers that fit, but a visit from his overbearing mother reminds him that he needs one thing more: respect."

The Second Stage Theater production recently received Lucille Lortel Award nominations for Outstanding Revival and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Play for Michael Urie.
