The Broadway engagement of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will open on April 22, 2018. The production, as previously announced, will play the Lyric Theatre, which is currently undergoing a complete redesign and transformation in preparation for the North American premiere of the production. Further information about the Broadway run will be announced in the coming months, with tickets going on sale this fall.

Based on an original story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is written by Thorne and directed by Tiffany, with movement by Steven Hoggett. The two-part play is currently running at the West End's Palace Theatre. The production has a set by Christine Jones, costumes by Katrina Lindsay, music and arrangements by Imogen Heap, lighting by Neil Austin, sound by Gareth Fry, illusions and magic by Jamie Harrison, and music supervision and arrangements by Martin Lowe.
