Oscar- and- Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Adele is the latest celeb to go backstage at Lin-Manuel Miranda's Hamilton. The "Hello" singer was on hand for the September 17 evening performance, after which she visited with the company. Check out TheaterMania's exclusive photo with the cast below:
Directed by Thomas Kail and inspired by Ron Chernow's biography Alexander Hamilton, Hamilton explores the life of the American founding father and first Secretary of the Treasury, as well as his experiences as an orphan of the British West Indies who immigrated to the 13 Colonies and helped shape the United States of America.
The show, which had its world premiere at the Public Theater, features a Tony-winning book and score by Miranda, with music direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, scenic design by David Korins, costume design by Paul Tazewell, lighting design by Howell Binkley, and sound design by Nevin Steinberg.
