Cassie Beck, Brian Sgambati, et al. Set for Huntington’s Prelude to a Kiss

Casting has been announced for the Huntington Theatre Company’s production of Craig Lucas’ Prelude to a Kiss, to run May 14-June 13. Peter DuBois will direct.

The comedy explores the enduring power of love and the nature of commitment when a kiss for the bride suddenly changes everything. The cast will star Brian Sgambati (Peter), Cassie Beck (Rita), and MacIntyre Dixon (the Old Man), with Nancy E. Carroll (Mrs. Boyle), Michael Hammond (Dr. Boyle), Ken Cheeseman (Uncle Fred), Jason Bowen, Ted Hewlett, Timothy John Smith, and Cheryl McMahon.

The creative team will include scenic designer Scott Bradley, costume designer Elizabeth Hope Clancy, lighting designer Japhy Weideman, and composer and sound designer David Remedios.
