Full casting and creative team has been announced for Signature Theatre's production of the John Kander-Fred Ebb-Terrence McNally musical The Visit, May 13-June 22. The production, which will be directed by Frank Galati, with choreography by Ann Reinking, will open officially on May 28.

In addition to previously announced stars Chita Rivera (Claire), George Hearn (Anton), and Mark Jacoby (The Mayor), the cast will feature Bethe B. Austin (Annie), Leslie Becker (Townsperson), D.B. Bonds (Young Anton), Matthew Deming (Louis Perch), Alan H. Green (Benny), James Harms (Rudi), Michael Hayward-Jones (The Priest), Howard Kaye (Lenny), Doug Kreeger (Evgeny), Mary Ann Lamb (Young Claire), Jerry Lanning (The Doctor), Ryan Lowe (Jacob Chicken), Karen Murphy (Matilda), Brianne Moore (Townsperson), Christy Morton (Townsperson), Brian O'Brien (Kurt), Cristen Paige (Ottilie), Kevin Reed (Karl), Hal Robinson (The Policeman), and Jeremy Webb (The Schoolmaster).

The show will feature set design by Derek McLane, costume design by Susan Hilferty, lighting design by Howell Binkley, and sound design by Matt Rowe. Orchestrations are by Michael Gibson, with musical supervision and musical direction by David Loud.

Based on the play by Freidrich Durenmatt, The Visit tells of Claire Zachanassian (Rivera), the richest woman in the world, who returns to the now-poor hometown she left in disgrace and offers the townspeople a fortune to kill her former lover (Hearn).

The production is part of the theater's Kander & Ebb Celebration, which will also include productions of their musicals Kiss of the Spider Woman and The Happy Time, and Karen Akers' acclaimed cabaret show, First You Dream: The Songs of Kander & Ebb.
