Arena Stage has announced its partnerships and schedule for a two-month long Eugene O’Neill Festival, to run March 9-May 6. The celebration will feature unique collaborations with other arts and education institutions in a diverse program of events.

The full-length productions headlining the festival include Arena’s productions of Ah, Wildernress! Among the other partner events are the New York Neo-Futurists’ The Complete & Condensed Stage Directions of Eugene O’Neill, Volume 1: Early Plays/Lost Plays (April 19-22); Rob Jansen’s solo performance, Ah, Eugene O’Neill!, or The Birth, Death and (Impractical) Rebirth of American Theater (March 24); Begotten: O’Neill and the Harbor of Masks (April 26-29), written, adapted and directed by Derek Goldman; Taffety Punk’s Riot Grrrls in a reading of Anna Christie (March 17-18). All of these take place in the Arlene and Robert Kogod Cradle at the Mead Center.

There will be additional staged readings, symposiums, lectures, and panels throughout the festival in various locations.
