The Studio Theatre in Washington DC will present the world premiere of Bryony Lavery's play Dirt October 17 through November 11, starring (Harper) and Matthew Montelongo (Matt). David Muse directs.

Dirt follows five lives as they sprawl and intersect: Harper is about to die. Elle is her waitress. Matt will eventually sleep with them both. May tries to get through a lecture in quantum physics without her cell going off. Guy is a healer and, well, a guy. From these lives, Bryony Lavery builds a stylish, sexy, and unnervingly funny exploration of the mess people make of themselves and their relationships.

The cast also includes Carolyn Mignini (May), Natalia Payne (Elle), and Ro Boddie (Guy) .

The creative team includes Debra Booth (Set Design), John Burkland (Lighting Design), Frank Labovitz (Costume Design), Chris Baine (Sound Design), and Adrien-Alice Hansel (Dramaturg).
