Charles Dean, Rod Gnapp, Ellen Ratner, et al. Set for Aurora’s Awake and Sing!

The Aurora Theatre Company has announced casting for its production of Awake and Sing!, to run August 21-September 27. Joy Carlin will direct.

Clifford Odets’ classic Depression-era drama covers a year in the life of the Bergers, an extended Jewish family surviving life in the Bronx. The cast will include Charles Dean (Myron), Ellen Ratner (Bessie), Ray Reinhardt (Jacob), Rod Gnapp (Moe), Victor Talmadge (Morty), Anthony Nemirovsky (Sam), Rebecca White (Hennie), and Patrick Russell (Ralph).
