Derick Loafmann will return for the fifth season in a row as Crumpet the Elf in The Santaland Diaries, December 3-20. Meghann Williams will direct.
The play is Joe Mantello’s adaptation of a piece by David Sedaris, about the latter’s experiences as an unemployed writer taking a job as an elf at Macy’s. This season, there will be a special audience participation performance on Saturday, December 5 at 10:30pm. Attendees will receive a bag of props and instructions on how to participate.
Loafmann has previously appeared at Flashpoint in boom, The House of Yes, and Schoolgirl Figure. His other credits include Twelfth Night, Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), and Last Night of Ballyhoo.
