Company, With Justin Guarini, Set to Play Bucks County Playhouse

Company starts its run tonight at Bucks County Playhouse. The Stephen Sondheim musical centers on Robert and his 35th birthday. All of his well-meaning and crazy (and married) friends think he should settle down. As the dinner, drinks, and even a wedding unfold, a bevy of hilarious interactions take place. Eventually, his friends are able to help Robert realize that being alone isn’t really being alive.

The musical is directed by Hunter Foster and choreographed by Lorin Latarro with music and lyrics by Sondheim and a book by George Furth. The cast features John Augustine as Larry, John Bolton as Harry, Candy Buckley as Joanne, John Caliendo as Paul, Jennifer Cody as Sarah, Chelsea Emma Franko as Marta, Justin Guarini as Robert, Anne Horak as April, Susannah Jones as Susan, Laura Jordan as Jenny, Max Kumangai as Peter, Gabrielle Ruiz as Kathy, Steve Rosen as David, and Kate Wetherhead as Amy.

"We are thrilled to have Justin back home at the Playhouse, in a role that is a perfect fit for his extraordinary talent," says executive producer Robyn Goodman.

The creative team includes Jason Sherwood (set design), Jennifer Caprio (costume design), and Jake DeGroot (lighting design).

Performances will run through June 21.
