The New York premiere of Mike Daisey’s The Agony And The Ecstasy of Steve Jobs has extended its engagement at the Public Theater through December 4. Jean-Michele Gregory has directed the production.

In the solo play, Daisey illuminates the war — from China to Silicon Valley — over how we see our world, and the human price we pay for our high-tech toys.

Among Daisey’s previous solo shows are If You See Something Say Something, The Last Cargo Cult, How Theater Failed America, 21 Dog Years, Invincible Summer, I Miss the Cold War, and Great Men of Genius.
