Transport Group has announced casting for Michael John LaChiusa's Queen of the Mist, to run October 18 - November 20 at the Gym at Judson. Jack Cummings III will direct the production, which will be choreographed by Scott Rink.

The musical revisits the life of Anna Edson Taylor, who, in 1901, set out to be the first woman to shoot Niagara Falls, in a barrel of her own design.

The company will feature Mary Testa as Taylor, along with D.C. Anderson, Stanley Bahorek, Theresa McCarthy, Julia Murney, Andrew Samonsky, and Tally Sessions.

The production will feature musical direction by Chris Fenwick, orchestrations by Michael Starobin, scenic design by Sandra Goldmark, costume design by Kathryn Rohe, lighting design by R. Lee Kennedy, and sound design by Walter Trarbach.
