Daytime Emmy Award Winner David Canary to Join George Street’s Twelve Angry Men

Daytime Emmy Award winner David Canary has joined the cast of Reginald Rose’s Twelve Angry Men, running March 13 – April 8 at the George Street Playhouse. He replaces the previously announced Jack Klugman who has had to withdraw for health reasons.

Canary earned five Daytime Emmy Awards for his portrayal of both Adam and Stuart Chandler on All My Children. His stage credits include Great day in the Morning and Clothes for a Summer Hotel on Broadway, as well as Blood Moon, The Fantasticks and The Father off-Broadway.

Twelve Angry Men centers on a jury’s fierce deliberations after hearing evidence in the trial of a young man accused of first degree murder for killing his own father

In addition to Canary, the cast features Jim Bracchitta, David Adkins, Lee Sellars, David Schramm, Jonathan Hadary, John Bolger, Gregg Edelman, Scott Drummond, James Rebhorn, Michael Sirow, Jonathan C. Kaplan, and Andrew Nogasky.
