Tshidi Manye will celebrate the release of her debut album Wildflower!, with a concert to be held on Monday, November 7 at dromNYC. Lelund Durond Thompson will direct the performance, which will have musical direction by Jason Michael Webb.
The concert will feature original music as well as a mix of music by artists such Annie Lennox, Letta Mbulu and Chaka Khan.
Manye currently plays Rafiki in The Lion King on Broadway. Among her other credits are the European and Japanese tours of Sarafina, as well as concert appearances with Paul Simon, David Byrne and Hugh Masekela.
