Kelli O’Hara, Steven Pasquale, Josh Radnor, et al. Set for Roundabout’s She Loves Me Benefit

Steven Pasquale will replace the previously announced Cheyenne Jackson as Steven Kodaly in the a one-night only benefit performance of Joe Masteroff, Jerry Bock, and Sheldon Harnick’s musical comedy, She Loves Me. Scott Ellis will direct the concert reading, which will be presented by the Roundabout Theatre Company at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre on Monday, December 5 at 7:30pm. Jackson has withdrawn due to a filming conflict with a USA network television pilot.

Pasquale will join the previously reported Victor Garber (Mr. Maraczek), Jane Krakowski (Ilona Ritter), Michael McGrath (Ladislav Sipos), Kelli O’Hara (Amalia Balas), Rory O’Malley (Arpad Laszlo), and Josh Radnor (Georg Nowack), along with the newly announced Peter Bartlett (Headwaiter), Jane Brockman, Rachel de Benedet, Rebecca Eichenberger, Gina Ferrall, Rob Lorey, Jeffrey Schecter, Jessica Vosk, and Jim Walton.

The musical follows Amalia and Georg, two feuding clerks in a European parfumerie during the 1930’s who secretly find solace in their anonymous romantic pen pals, little knowing their respective correspondents are actually each other.


The presentation will feature musical staging by JoAnn M. Hunter and musical director Paul Gemignani will lead a 15-member orchestra with orchestrations by Don Walker.

The design team includes Derek McLane (sets), Jeff Mahshie (costumes), Peter Kaczorowski (lights), Brian Ronan (sound), and Elaine McCarthy (projections).
