Carol Channing, Patti LuPone, Amy Sedaris, Chely Wright, et al. to Appear at NYC Borders Stores

Borders has announced the line-up of celebrities who will appear in December for book readings and signings.

Among the participants at its Columbus Circle in the Time Warner center are Carol Channing signing her newest CD For Heaven’s Sake (December 1, 1pm); Amy Sedaris discussing Simple Times: Crafts for Poor People (December 2, 2pm); Patti LuPone discussing her self-titled memoir (December 6, 7pm); and comedian Denis Leary signing Suck on This Year: LYFAO @ 140 Characters or Less (December 8, 7pm), as well as additional appearances by Countess Nathalie von Bismarck (December 3, 7pm), Portia de Rossi (December 7, 7pm), and Ina Garten (December 13, 12pm), among others.

In addition to the Channing event, various Border stores will host events on December 1 and 2 to support LifeBeat. Participating celebrities will include Mike Birbiglia, Ronnie Spector, The Superiors, Jo Weldon, Doug Laygway, Gregory Gunter, Josh Kilmer-Purcell, Rachel Sage, and Chely Wright.
