LIFEbeat will present its fifth annual 10-day eBay auction, Celebrity Memorabilia Auction Honoring World AIDS Day BID 2 BEAT AIDS, beginning December 1 at Noon EST. Proceeds will benefit the organization's ongoing AIDS/HIV programs nationwide.
The centerpiece of the auction is a one-of-a-kind celebrity autographed "Lend-A-Hand to LIFEbeat" card series in which stars traced their hands on special paper, adding an artistic touch and signature. Participants in this project include Christine Baranski, Lance Bass, Craig Bierko, Gerard Butler, Stockard Channing, Gavin Creel, Andre De Shields, Angie Dickinson, Colman Domingo, Nanette Fabray, Louise Fletcher, Brendan Fraser, Lee Grant, Marcia Gay Harden, Julie Harris, June Havoc, Maurice Hines, Jackie Hoffman, Brian D'Arcy James, Allison Janney, Kristen Johnston, Jude Law, Marsha Mason, Sylvia Miles, John O'Hurley, Estelle Parsons, Faith Prince, Phylicia Rashad, Alice Ripley, Bob Saget, Christopher Seiber, Mary Testa, Michael Urie, Dick Van Patten, Betty White, and B.D. Wong.
The auction will also include items from celebrities such as Bea Arthur, Michael Feinstein, Sutton Foster, Debbie Harry, Cheyenne Jackson, Mark Kostabi, Lady Gaga, Cyndi Lauper, Patti LuPone, Madonna, Ricky Martin, Tim McGraw, Liza Minnelli, Stevie Nicks, Cynthia Nixon, Bernadette Peters, Joan Rivers, Henry Rollins, John Waters, Vanessa Williams, and the casts of South Pacific, Hair, 13, Equus, Hairspray, Rent, Legally Blonde, 9 to 5, Shrek and Glee.
