Fontana will be joined by OZ cast members Lee Tergesen, Kirk Acevedo, muMs, and others for five performances of the piece, to be given from Thursday, December 5 through Sunday, December 8 at the American Globe Theatre, located at 145 West 46th Street (between Sixth and Seventh avenues). Linda Laundra is directing the show.
Established in 1989, American Globe Theatre (AGT) is dedicated to presenting innovative productions of classical and original plays, and to arts education. It aims to reinvigorate contemporary American theater performance through a historically based and imaginative method for language and staging called the Rough and Ready Technique, which originated among Shakespeare's own company of players. John Basil is the AGT's artistic director.
Tickets for The Day Jack London Got Pinched are $40 for the 9pm performances (on 12/5, 12/6, 12/7) and include a post-show drink with the cast. Tickets for the shows at 7pm on 12/7 and 3pm on 12/8 are only $25. For information, call 212-869-9809 or click here to order online through TheaterMania.
