PHOTO FLASH: Colman Domingo, Randy Graff, et al. at Motherhood Out Loud Opening

Primary Stages celebrated the opening of Motherhood Out Loud , playing at 59E59 Theaters, on Tuesday, October 4. Lisa Peterson has directed the production.

The show stars Mary Bacon, Saidah Arrika Ekulona, Randy Graff and James Lecesne. Among the guests who joined the cast at opening night were Colman Domingo, Rachel Hauck, and Willy Holtzman.

Conceived by Susan R. Rose and Joan Stein, and written by Leslie Ayvazian, David Cale, Jessica Goldberg, Beth Henley, Lameece Issaq, Claire LaZebnik, Lisa Loomer, Michele Lowe, Marco Pennette, Theresa Rebeck, Luanne Rice, Annie Weisman and Cheryl L. West, the piece shatters traditional notions about parenthood, unveils its inherent comedy and celebrates the deeply personal truths that span generations.
