Aaron Lazar, Stephanie Umoh, Max von Essen, et al. Set for First Name Basis Benefit Concert

An updated list of talent has been announced for Living for Today’s First Name Basis concert, a benefit for The Gilana Shira Alpert Fund to be offered at Joe’s Pub on October 17. Chris Blisset will host the performance, which will be directed by David Alpert and have musical direction by Nate Patten.

The concert will feature show tunes that have a first name in the title. Among the artists scheduled to appear are Tituss Burgess, Celina Carvajal, Allison Case, Stephanie D’Abruzzo, Janet Dacal, Madeleine Doherty, Daniel Everidge, Autumn Hurlbert, Aaron Lazar, Darren Ritchie, Steve Rosen, Tory Ross, Jessica Rush, Jason Michael Snow, Lucia Spina, Stephen Spinella, Stephanie Umoh, Max Von Essen, Jim Walton, Correy West, and Amos Wolff. In addition, the event will feature a world premiere video by Randy Rainbow.

The ensemble will be compromised of Jeffrey Paul Baker, Brynn Curry, Jana DeBusk, Justin Goodemoot, Killian Patton, and Cassandra Sandberg.

The Gilana Shira Alpert Fund was created in November 2007 as a memorial to Gilana Alpert and supports charities Alpert supported in life including Holocaust awareness, theater education and outreach, human equality advocacy, and sex education.
