The Big Gay Musical to Get NYC Premiere on September 11

The Big Gay Musical, a new film directed by Casper Andreas, with a script by Fred Caruso, a score by Rick Crom, choreography by Shea Sullivan, and costumes by Bobby Pearce, will gets its official New York premiere on Friday, September 11 at the Chelsea Clearview Cinema. There will also be an advance “gypsy” screening for theater professionals at the theater on Monday, September 7.

The story focuses on two actors, Paul and Eddie, who have just begun previews for the new Off-Broadway musical Adam & Steve Just the Way God Made ‘Em, and whose lives initially mirror the characters they are playing. Paul is looking for the perfect man. while Eddie is dealing with how his sexuality and faith can mix.

The cast features Celina Carvajal, Joshua Cruz, Joey Dudding, Steve Hayes, Liz McCartney, Jeff Metzler, Jim Newman, Brian Spitulnik, Daniel Robinson, Marty Thomas, and Andre Ward.

The film is also scheduled to screen at various film festivals across the country in the coming weeks, and a CD is being released.
