Daytime Emmy Award winner and Broadway veteran Susan Lucci will be a guest host on the September 23 installment of ABC’s The View, according to a report on TVGuide.com.
The program will be dedicated to the daytime drama All My Children, on which Lucci has played the role of Erica Kane since its debut in 1970. As previously announced, the final episode of the daytime drama will be aired on the network later that day.
Among the guests expected to appear are All My Children creator Agnes Nixon, along with performers Cameron Mathison, Rebecca Budig, and Vincent Irizarry. Additional guests will be announced in the near future.
Lucci starred in Annie Get Your Gun on Broadway and has also performed her cabaret show nationwide.
The regular hosts of The View are Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd.
