The Berserker Residents will present their newest show, The Lapsburgh Layover at Ars Nova, to run August 31 – September 23, with an opening on September 12. Oliver Butler will direct the production.
The show centers on the citizens of the tiny, isolated city Lapsburgh who have prepared a theatrical entertainment to help some American tourists pass the time while their international flight refuels. As the piece is performed, it reveals not only Lapsburgh’s many charms, but also darker forces lurk just beyond the borders.
The work has been created by, and will feature Justin Jain, Dave Johnson, and Bradley K. Wrenn, along with Leah Walton.
The creative team will include Lisi Stoessel (scenic design), Sydney Maresca (costume design), Brian Tovar (lighting design), and M.L. Dogg (sound design).
