The complete lineup of films that will be screened as the Main Slate for the New York Film Festival (NYFF) has been announced.
Among the films newly added to the Festival schedule are Abel Ferrara’s 4:44: Last Day on Earth, which stars Willem Dafoe and Shanyn Leigh; Sean Durkni’s Martha Marcy May Marlene, with Hugh Dancy and Sarah Paulson; Steve McQueen’s Shame, starring Carey Mulligan, and Martin Scorcese’s documentary George Harrison: Living in the Material World.
As previously reported, the NYFF Main Slate will also include such films as Roman Polanski’s Carnage, David Cronenberg’s A Dangerous Method, and Simon Curtis’ My Week With Marilyn.
