Irondale has announced productions to be presented as part of its 2010-2011 season at the Irondale Center in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.

Irondale Ensemble Project, the center’s resident company, will reprise their highly acclaimed production of alice…Alice…ALICE! in December, and premiere a new ensemble-devised piece, Murrows Boys, in April.

Presented work will include the Liverpool-based Fools Proof Theatre Company’s Je Suis Dead in September, followed by the Civilians’ In The Footprint, a theater piece about the Atlantic Yards development. In January, Irondale and Catscratch Dance Company will present FLIC FEST, a two-week dance festival. In February, B.H. Barry will direct a new version of Treasure Island, based on the Robert Louis Stevenson novel.

In addition, Irondale’s series for families and children, Big Box of Distractions, will present events throughout the year, while there will also be various music events including work by composer, musician, and artist Chris Chalfant and a series of events curated by the maverick record label Jazzwerkstatt from Germany.
