Jesse Eisenberg to Star in Asuncion as Part of Rattlestick Playwrights Theater Season

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater has announced its 2011-2012 season.


The season will include Asuncion, a look at two young men’s attempts to demonstrate their open-mindedness, written by and starring by Academy Award nominee Jesse Eisenberg. The production, to be directed by Kip Fagan, which will begin performances at the Cherry Lane Theatre on October 12, with an official opening on October 27.

In addition, the season will include Dan Klores’ The Wood, directed by David Bar Katz; Dael Orlandersmith’s Horsedreams, directed by Gordon Edelstein; Daniel Talbott’s Yosemite, directed by Pedro Pascal; Jose Rivera’s Massacre (Sing to the Children), directed by Brian Mertes, and David Adjmi’s 3C, directed by Jackson Gay. Casting and creative teams will be announced at a later date.
