On Wednesday night, the Manhattan Theatre Club’s production of Caryl Churchill’s Top Girls officially concluded the 2007-2008 season. Celebrating after the show were three of the show’s stars, Jennifer Ikeda, Ana Reeder, and Elizabeth Marvel.

Oscar winner Marisa Tomei has already received a Drama Desk Award nomination for her work in the play, in which she plays three roles.

Mary Catherine Garrison portrays four extremely different characters in the show.

Martha Plimpton, who plays Pope Joan and troubled teen Angie, was joined after the performance by her proud papa, Oscar winner Keith Carradine.

The opening night crowd included Broadway veteran and 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin.

Former Star Trek: Voyager top girl Kate Mulgrew has been working steadily Off-Broadway this season.

The multi-talented Daphne Rubin-Vega was on hand for the big event.

Tony Award winner Adriane Lenox and actress Sharon Wilkins know how to make a colorful entrance.

MTC alum Charles Busch is preparing a revival of his comedy Shanghai Moon for Long Island’s Bay Street Theatre.

On Tuesday night, the 22nd Annual MAC Awards, honoring the best of cabaret, comedy, and jazz, were handed out at BB Kings. The hilarious Lewis Black received a special award for excellence in comedy.

Film star Danny Aiello presented good friend Linda Amiel Burns with one of the group’s Board of Directors Awards.

Maureen McGovern, who just released her new CD, Long and Winding Road, was honored with the MAC Lifetime Achievement Award.

Broadway favorite Andrea McArdle and daughter Alexis Kalehoff were among the many entertainers who contributed to the fun.

Comedian Judy Gold and musical director John McDaniel were two of the evening’s many presenters.

Finally, NBC newscaster Sue Simmons came by to hand out a special award to her good friend, the legendary jazz singer Gloria Lynne.
