Lynne Taylor-Corbett to Direct Joanna Rush in Asking For It at Lincoln Center

Lynne Taylor-Corbett will direct writer/performer Joanna Rush in her solo show, Asking For It at Lincoln Center at the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center on Thursday, March 29 at 8:30pm.


The piece — which follows one woman’s hysterical and heartbreaking journey from “Outstanding Catholic Youth of the Year” to the stage of Radio City Music Hall to the cast of A Chorus Line — is part of Target® Free Thursdays, which features free concerts and events in the Atrium.

Additional performers and events will include the world premiere of composer Ezequiel Viñao’s Sonetos de Amor (February 2); Loren Schoenberg and The National Jazz Museum All Stars (February 7); The Nick Rolfe Project and Imani Uzuri’s The Gypsy Diaries (February 16); Ruth Moody (February 23); Burnt Sugar (March 1); Kate McGarry (March 8); the SpokFrevo Orquestra (March 15); Kamilya Jourban (April 5); Lindigo (May 3); and Orquestra Sarabia (May 17).

In addition, Lincoln Center will be presenting a series of Meet the Artist Saturdays featuring free family programs at 11am. These will include presentations from the Harlem Gospel Choir (February 4); The Story Pirates (March 3).
