Tony Award winner Bebe Neuwirth will be a recurring guest star on CBS’ The Good Wife, according to EW.com.
She will be playing Judge Friend, who is described as “a sexy woman with a stern manner and little patience for joking around.”
Neuwirth received Tony Awards for her work in Chicago and Sweet Charity. She most recently appeared on Broadway in The Addams Family. Her previous television work includes the role of Dr. Lilith Sternin on Cheers and Frasier.
The Good Wife stars Julianna Margulies, Christine Baranski, Josh Charles, Alan Cumming, Archie Panjabi, and Matt Czuchry.
