Nina Arianda, Denis O’Hare, Anika Noni Rose, Scott Shepherd, Benicio del Toro Set for Selected Shorts

Casting has been announced for several upcoming editions of Symphony Space’s Selected Shorts series.

Tony Award winner Anika Noni Rose will be featured in Haiti Noir, with Edgwidge Danticat on Wednesday, January 26 at 7pm. She will perform new stories by Danticat and Mark Kurlansky.

Tony Award winner Denis O’Hare and Theatre World Award winner Nina Arianda will be part of the cast of Russian Tales, Classic and New with Anya Ulinich and Keith Gessen on Wednesday, February 16 at 7pm. The program will featre classic tales and new stories from the latest emerging Russian writers.

Academy Award winner Benicio del Toro and downtown favorite Scott Shepherd will perform in 40th Anniversary Celebration of Hunter S. Thompson’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, on Wednesday, March 16 at 7pm. They, along with additional cast members to be announced, will read selections from the comic gonzo classic.
