Evan Buliung, Peter Donaldson, Colin Mochrie Set for Yasmina Reza's Art at Canadian Stage

Colin Mochrie will play Serge, Peter Donaldson will play Marc, and Evan Buliung will play Yvan in the Canadian Stage Company's production of Yasmina Reza's Art, to run March 15 - April 10 at the Bluma Appel Theatre in Toronto. Morris Panych will direct.

Art revolves around the purchase of a very expensive, all-white Modernist painting which pushes the boundaries of art and ignites a passionate debate among three friends.

Mochrie may be best known for his roles on television's Whose Line Is It Anyway? and This Hour Has 22 Minutes and as the host of Are You Smarter Than a Canadian 5th Grader?. His film credits include Rainbow Wars, Man on the Moon and Return of Zoom.

Donaldson's stage credits include And So It Goes, Hysteria and numerous appearances at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. He won a Genie Award for Long Day's Journey Into Night.

Buliung most recently starred in Cloud 9 and The Devil's Disciple. Other stage credits include: The House of Martin Guerre We Will Rock You, and Lord of the Rings, along with appearances with the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, the Shaw Festival, and the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre.
