Cantori New York will be presenting the American premiere of Dutch composer Jacques Bank's Felix und Clara, starring Kathleen Chalfant, November 3 at 8pm at Church of St. Luke in the Fields.

Felix und Clara is a musical look at the troubled relationship of German musician Clara Schumann and her son Felix, with the chorus singing the voice of Felix.

The evening's program will also feature the world premiere of Four Songs by Frank Brickle, atmospheric treatments of an unusual collection of texts by four 20th century American poets within the soundscape of a string quartet.
