The 2013 Broadway Flea Market

The 2013 Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction, presented by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, took place on Sunday, September 22. More than 60 Broadway stars, including Cherry Jones (The Glass Menagerie) and Laura Osnes (Cinderella), came out to participate. In total, the event raised $631,222 for BC/EFA.

The event found thousands of theater lovers poring over 56 tables of theater treasures. The tables raised $311,691, more than $25,000 above last year's total, and the live auction raised $217,950.

"That enthusiasm and the great generosity of spirit of the theater community itself translated into an extraordinary day for Broadway Cares and, in turn, a better one for hundreds of thousands in our own neighborhood and across the country living with HIV/AIDS and other serious health issues who receive support because of the ever-growing embrace of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS," said Tom Viola, executive director of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
