Betsy Aidem, Clea Alsip and Olga Merediz will join Kathleen Turner in Long Wharf Theatre‘s production of The Killing of Sister George, by Frank Marcus and adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher. The play, which Turner also directs, runs November 28-December 23 on the Claire Tow Stage in the C. Newton Schenck III Mainstage Theatre.

In the comedy, Turner stars as June Buckridge, who plays the popular radio nun, Sister George. When the ratings dip, Sister George disappears in the Great Beyond. But cigar-chewing, gin-swilling June refuses to go away.

Alsip will play June’s secretary Childie, with Aidem as Mercy Croft and Merediz as Madame Xenia.
