On Wednesday, September 21, Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark started a new initiative to honor “Everyday Heroes” in New York for their contributions to the community. Honorees will be invited to see the show and come backstage after the performance to meet the cast. The production will also make a donation to the Honoree’s favorite charity.

This month, Spider-Man honors Nurse Practitioner Diane Pagan for her work at the Medical House Call Program at Montefiore Medical Center over the last six years. Pagan regularly travels around the Bronx visiting homebound patients to provide care and prevent them from having to be hospitalized. She sees a mix of elderly and young patients and still finds time to take care of her three children, ages 4, 7, and 9.
