What If Breaking Bad Were a Musical Performed by Middle Schoolers?

Here’s the answer to the question you’ve never pondered until now.

Here’s something no one ever saw coming: a musical version of the AMC drama series Breaking Bad — as performed by middle school students. Created by the comedy duo Rhett & Link, Breaking Bad: The Middle School Musical is surprisingly faithful to the plot of the series, which follows a cancer-stricken chemistry teacher who turns to cooking crystal meth in order to secure his family’s financial future — except that instead of starring Emmy winners Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, it features a bunch of junior high school kids singing about “Blue Rock Candy.”

So, if you don’t have time to work your way through the past five seasons between now and August 11 when the show returns to the airwaves, here’s your chance to catch up. Blue rock candy not included.
