Roger Rees and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio Will Be Joined by Charlotte Parry in Broadway’s The Winslow Boy

This revival of the Terence Rattigan play will be directed by Lindsay Posner.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that Broadway veteran Charlotte Parry (The Importance of Being Earnest) will join the cast of the coming revival of Terence Rattigan’s The Winslow Boy, which will play at the American Airlines Theatre beginning September 20. Parry will join Tony Award winner Roger Rees (Peter and the Starcatcher), Tony Award nominee Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio (Man of La Mancha), Tony nominee Michael Cumpsty (End of the Rainbow), and Alessandro Nivola (A Month in the Country). Lindsay Posner will direct.

Based on a true story, The Winslow Boy follows Arthur
Winslow as he fights to clear his son’s name after his son is expelled from Osbourne Naval College for stealing a five-shilling postal order. This production is a direct transfer from The Old Vic Theatre in London. The play was last seen on Broadway in 1948.

The cast will also include Zachary Booth, Spencer Davis Milford, Charlotte Parry, Chandler Williams, Meredith Forlenza, Stephen Pilkington, and Henny Russell.
