Michael Cerveris, Taylor Mac, Melissa Manchester Set for Lincoln Center Out of Doors Festival

Lincoln Center has announced the line-up for its 42nd annual Lincoln Center Out of Doors Festival, which will feature over 100 free performances, July 25-August 12.


A highlight of the Festival will be OurLand: Celebrating Irish Culture in America, a day-long event on Sunday, July 29 that will feature appearances by Michael Cerveris,Terry George, Geraldine Hughes, Cara Seymour, Angelica Page, Malachy McCourt, Barbara Feldon, Joe Hurley, Antonique Smith, among many other artists.


In addition, cast members from the Tony Award-winning musical Once will perform at 6pm as part of the OurLand event.


The Festival will open with a special concert by Nile Rodgers and the Chic Organization, and will also feature the U.S premiere of Tangle, a special interactive children’s performance work from Australia’s Polyglot Theatre (July 26-29); an appearance by the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus (July 28); and Valerie Simpson and Friends (August 10).


The Festival will also include the 29th Annual Roots of American Musical Festival (August 11-12), which includes appearances by Desmond Child, Sarah Dash, Taylor Mac, Melissa Manchester, Nona Hendryx, Tom Paxton and more., and Pardon Our Analysis: An All-Star Gathering For Gil Scott-Heron (August 12), which will feature Martha Redbone, Carl Hancock Rux, Sapphire, and many others.
