Tony Award and Emmy Award winner Kristien Chenoweth has been released from Bellevue Hospital after an overnight stay that resulted from being hit in the head by scaffolding on the set of the CBS series The Good Wife, according to reports.

She is recuperating at home, according to a statement released by her publicist, Jill Fritzo.

Chenoweth just joined the hit series in a recurring role as a top-notch political reporter who looks into the marriage of Peter and Alicia Florrick (played by Chris Noth and Julianna Margulies).

She won the Tony for You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and has appeared on Broadway in such shows as Wicked, Promises, Promises, and The Apple Tree. Chenoweth won an Emmy for Pushing Daisies and recently starred on ABC's GCB.
