Flashback Friday: Liza Minnelli Sings Possibly the Best Version of "A New Life" from Jekyll & Hyde

Seriously, just try not watching till the end.

By New York City

Broadway's recent revival of Frank Wildhorn and Leslie Bricusse's Jekyll and Hyde, starring Constantine Maroulis and Deborah Cox, closed too soon. But perhaps they would have run a little longer if they'd included a Liza cameo. In this clip, Ms. Minnelli gives a soaring performance of one of the show's most touching tunes. It's the kind of mesmerizing video that sucks you in and won't let go.

Also worth noting — especially if you find yourself getting sucked into the YouTube vortex that is Liza Minnelli videos: Somehow her hairstyle is always perfect for the decade, without actually changing at all.
