Broadway Girls Just Want To Have Fun with Kinky Boots

Whoopi Goldberg, Laura Osnes, Kathie Lee Gifford, and Rosie O’Donnell appear in a tribute music video celebrating 30 years of Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.”

What do Broadway’s most fabulous ladies do in their dressing rooms between matinee and evening performances? They play with shoes. A new tribute music video, commemorating 30 years since the recording of Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” features a slew of Broadway and New York celebrities, as well as the cast of Kinky Boots, rocking out to the girl-power anthem while clutching two and a half feet of irresistible, tubular sex.

Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O’Donnell, Cinderella‘s Laura Osnes, The Lion King‘s Buyi Zama, Annie‘s Lilla Crawford, Katie Couric, Kathie Lee Gifford, and Hoda Kotb are featured in the video, which posted today to the YouTube account of Broadway actor Raymond J. Lee (Anything Goes). Lauper is nominated for the Tony Award for Best Original Score for Kinky Boots.

So turn up the volume and prepare to jump around the room like a bride at a bachelorette party. Resistance is futile:
