Brian Murray will replace previously announced star John Glover in the readings of George Bernard Shaw’s one-acts Village Wooing and How He Lied to Her Husband that will take place on Monday, June 18 as part of the Project Shaw series at The Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South). Glover has withdrawn from the readings because he needs to make a promotional appearance with the cast of The Drowsy Chaperone, in which he plays Man in Chair.

Matt Cavenaugh (Grey Gardens) and Karen Ziemba (Curtains) will join Murray for the readings. Murray is currently co-starring in the Irish Rep’s production of Patrick Hamilton’s Gaslight and has participated in previous Project Shaw readings.

As previously announced, Tyne Daly and Jonathan Hadary, who co-starred in the 1989 Broadway revival of Gypsy, will re-team for Shaw’s The Millionairess on July 23. Daly last appeared on Broadway in Rabbit Hole, while Hadary is currently playing King Arthur in Monty Python’s Spamalot.

After a hiatus in August, Project Shaw will resume in September with a reading of Shaw’s Man and Superman.
