Lucy Liu and Jonathan Groff to Announce the 2014 Tony Award Nominees

The event will be broadcast live from New York’s Diamond Horseshoe at the Paramount Hotel.

Broadway, film, and Emmy-nominated television star Lucy Liu (God of Carnage, Elementary) and Tony nominee Jonathan Groff (HBO's Looking, Frozen) will cohost the Tony Awards Nominations announcement on Tuesday, April 29.

The event, sponsored by IBM, will be broadcast live from New York's Diamond Horseshoe at Paramount Hotel — the current home of the immersive off-Broadway production Queen of the Night — on TonyAwards.com at 8:30am. The announcements may also be viewed live on CBS This Morning and NY1.

Also in attendance will be six-time Tony Award-winning costume designer and Chairman of the American Theatre Wing William Ivey Long, as well as Heather Hitchens, executive director of the American Theatre Wing, Nick Scandalios, chairman of the Broadway League, and Charlotte St. Martin, executive director of the Broadway League.

The Tony Awards ceremony will be held June 8 at Radio City Music Hall and will be hosted by Tony winner Hugh Jackman.
