A pair of colliding storms heading across the East Coast on February 8 and 9 won't disrupt performances of Broadway shows. Yet.

"As of now, all Broadway shows will play as scheduled," The Broadway League's 2pm Weather Alert reported. "For information about returns and exchanges, please contact your point of purchase."

The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning through Saturday, February 9 at 1pm, with (depending on the forecast) anywhere from six inches to two feet of snow expected in New York City, and wind gusts up to 45 miles per hour. Snow totals are expected to be higher across the East Coast.

New York City subway and bus service is currently operating on a normal schedule, but customers are advised to travel only if necessary. As the storm progresses, service will be monitored, curtailed, temporarily suspended depending on the conditions of the weather.
