Bobby Cannavale, Billy Crudup, Chris Rock, and Zoe Kazan will be among the all-star players going head-to-head at Labyrinth Theater Company’s annual Celebrity Charades Benefit. The yearly fundraiser will be held at Capitale on January 14.

The complete “cast” list features Cannavale (Glengarry Glen Ross), Josh Charles (The Distance from Here), Olympian Sasha Cohen, Crudup (The Pillowman), America Ferrera (off-Broadway’s current Bethany), athlete Eddie George, Philip Seymour Hoffman (Death of a Salesman), Zoe Kazan (A Behanding in Spokane), Richard Kind (The Big Knife), Padma Lakshmi (Bravo’s Top Chef), Zosia Mamet (HBO’s Girls), Jesse L. Martin (Rent), Chris Rock (The Motherf*cker with the Hat, Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane), fashion designer Cynthia Rowley, Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent), Yul Vázquez (The Last Days of Judas Iscariot) and David Zayas (Showtime’s Dexter) who will battle it out in a highly-competitive and animated speed charades competition in front of a live audience.

A themed event, this year’s showdown will have a “Gladiators” through-line, suggesting at least one spectacular miming of “Russell Crowe” in store for attendees. Hoffman, a Labyrinth original founding member, is known for being a dangerously skilled charader, though eyewitnesses report Cannavale has been gaining on him in recent years.

Labyrinth Theater Company (Stephen Adly Guirgis, Mimi O’Donnell, Yul Vázquez, Artistic Directors; Danny Feldman, Managing Director) has been a leader in groundbreaking ensemble theater since its inception in 1992. Labyrinth has premiered 58 new American plays in New York alone, including Jack Goes Boating, Jesus Hopped The A Train, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Our Lady of 121st Street, Sailor’s Song, Thinner Than Water and the company’s Tony Award nominated Broadway debut, The Motherf**ker With The Hat.
